Sept. 2, 2026 | Noon to 5 p.m.

Engage, connect and explore opportunities

Kansas State University is uniquely positioned to help lead these efforts through its land-grant mission, multidisciplinary strengths and strategic focus on enabling technologies.

The Secure Energy Initiative's Technical Interchange Meeting will bring together external stakeholders and the K-State community to share perspectives, identify opportunities and build support for initiatives that will strengthen energy security, reliability and economic competition across Kansas and beyond.

Why It Matters

Reliable, affordable and secure energy is foundational to agricultural productivity, economic growth, infrastructure reliability, and community resilience. As Kansas faces increasing grid complexity, aging energy assets, rising affordability concerns and growing interest in energy-intensive industries such as data centers, there is a critical need for collaborative solutions that address both current and future energy challenges.

Why Attend

  • Connect with industry leaders, faculty and community partners addressing energy challenges.

  • Identify collaborators for interdisciplinary research, outreach and deployment projects.

  • Share priorities and explore solutions to pressing energy challenges.

  • Build partnerships that accelerate innovation, workforce development and technology adoption.

  • Position collaborative teams for future SEI funding and long-term impact.

Registration

Registration closes on Aug. 26. Registration for abstract consideration is required by Aug. 20.
