The Kansas Transportation Engineering Conference allows industry professionals to spend two days discussing developments in the transportation industry in Kansas. The conference's history stretches back to 1918 when it was hosted for the first time and called the Kansas Highway Engineering Conference.
Registration will open in February 2026.

Continuing Education Credits
If you have registered and paid for Continuing Education and you attend all of the sessions of the Kansas Transportation Engineering Conference you will receive seven (7) continuing education hours from Kansas State University, Department of Civil Engineering. The certificates will be available via email after the conference. It remains your responsibility to verify with your state/or governing agency/or professional development committee that these continuing education hours will be accepted.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Please note that registration transfers will not be accepted for any transportation-related event.
We will accept cancellations until the program registration close date as posted on our website. Refunds given will be 10% less of the registration cost, or a minimum of $25.
Notice must be received by the Professional and Continuing Education Office at K-State Olathe by the refund deadline. To modify or cancel your registration, please send a written request to kcprofdev@ksu.edu or transportationevents@ksu.edu with the workshop title in the subject line. Refunds are not available after the refund deadline, however, a credit may be made available upon request for a future training. Registered participants who do not cancel their registration in writing are responsible for the fees even if they do not attend.
Kansas State University Olathe may cancel or postpone this program because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If the program is canceled or postponed, registration fees will be refunded but we cannot be held responsible for other costs, charges or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies. Registration fees will not be canceled, and refunds will not be issued if the program is held but the registrant is unable to attend due to travel delays or cancellations caused by inclement weather, or due to other extraordinary circumstances beyond the control of Kansas State University Olathe.

Participants who need accommodations due to a disability or who have special dietary requirements should indicate services needed at the time of registration.
