Getting to Manhattan, Kansas, is easy, with interstate access, a regional airport and an international airport in Kansas City (which is about a 2 hour drive to campus). Walking is the main mode of transportation on campus, but parking is available for drivers at the K-State Parking Garage.

Interstate/Highway Access

From the east

  • Take I-70 West.
  • Turn right at exit 313 (K-177 North), and drive approximately 9 miles to reach Manhattan, Kansas.

From the west

  • Take I-70 East.
  • Take exit 303 (K-18 North), and turn left onto K-18 to reach Manhattan, Kansas.

From the south

  • Take K-177 North to Manhattan, Kansas.

From the north

  • Take Highway 13 South to Highway 113 to reach Manhattan, Kansas.
Flights
  • KCI Airport has hundreds of daily flights with nonstop service to dozens of different airports
  • MHK Airport has two non-stop services between the Manhattan Regional Airport (MHK) and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and the Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD).
